Google groups and google answers

I started noticing that sometimes while searching newsgroups on google and then clicking on results, I get a message saying that the article is not available and I should try google answers.
Then, I go back and click the same link again and everything works fine.

Did anybody else notice that?

Is it google's way of promoting google answers or is it just a standard template for times when some data is temporarily unavaialble?

I'd say that the Google Answers promotion is for if they groups is unavaliable. I think it's a glitch that your seeing it alot. Google aren't generally underhanded in the promotions.

Just got word from a friend at NTL. You may have noticed that Google has been unreliable this weekend if you were using the connection that sees the flags. This was NTL attempting to fix the problem.
