I guess I didn't mean automated query tools. I can understand how the restriction of them helps to keep Google a better place (processing power still isn't cheap:)). I was more intersted in tools that assist in giving better in depth results or helping in the legitimate promotion of a person's site. I have been looking more for any specific code, commands, or tools to search google with......i.e. if there are any similiar commands to the link:www.yoursite.com
or
site:yoursite.com inurl:*

<aside again>...You are definitely right about the amount of marketing talent on this board...it's almost intimidating at times, but very very helpful. I very much appreciate the rules and regulations that keep this board swimming in MOSTLY quality information. I'm sure it's not as easy as the administrators make it look.

Guess I should rephrase my question. Somewhere in webmasterworld someone posted a link that would do a time length search in google. Google only provides "pages added in the past three months" the link would let you find pages down to the last 24 or 48 hours....anyone know about this?

I guess we all know the link:http://www.yourdomain.com command. I know that I use it quite often. Are there any other google commands (even useless ones?) that anyone is aware of?

Sure. There are tons of other commands...
I think I saw a list once, and I'd like to see a complete list too. (in an easy to read list form)

Also the advanced search [google.com...] is very powerful and can do most of the commands..and also, when you do an advanced search, the search box will show the exact command used.

anything around where I can search within three Google search tabs in one go, on one screen?

Example:

I want to search for information on "Red Wine being beneficial for your health"

I want results from:

- Webpages (Google vanilla)
- Recent discussions (Google groups)
- Paid answers from specialists (Google answers)
- Published articles (peer-reviewed authorative magazines) (I know Google fails here)

All results in one search request on one three pane (19 inch) screen.
Is this possible?

I don't know of such a thing, but it should be fairly easy to build with a form, a handful of frames and a little JavaScript.
