Google using yahoo/odp descriptions

Is this new or have i missed it?

Noticing that not only is yahoo changing the title back to the yahoo title and description for yahooggle results but now that for sites that are in yahoo/odp, Google itself is using the yahoo or odp description - one or the other, not sure.. If not in yahoo or ODP (eg, non-index pages) it seems to still be using the ransom note.

Is this a new feature or have i missed it before?

I liked the ransom note much better!

[[Added] Sorry guys.. i note that the ransom notes are still there for index pages listed in OPD/Yahoo directory.. it just lists the ODP description and category as well in that case.. sorry for the wasted clicks.]

Before this, we had thousands of referrals from Google results via Yahoo, now it's down to a trickle. Aside from my selfish concerns, the overall Yahoo results aren't nearly as relevant as they were previously. They're cutting their own throat, IMHO.
