No incoming links counted for new site

Is this why I have PR0?

Hi everyone,

Google is showing zero incoming links for a brand new site. Not even the one that it found the site from.

Anyone hazard an opinion?

All pages have a PR0: Is this why, or could I have a real problem here?

I am no expert Nick, but from my own experience the two are definitely linked. I know that this is definitely applying in my case.

Does google not show any incomings for you too? With PR0?

Wait for the next update, this one may have just sneaked under the wire on the last update. Concentrate on building out your content and gaining quality inbound, themed links instead of fretting ;)

you can only see backinks that are pr4 or higher.

there's no problem there.

I assume you are talking about a client's site Nick and not your own (as shown in the profile).

If you look at my site you will see google shows no links, a PR of 2 for the index page and PR of 0 for all internal pages.
Used to be a PR7 for the whole site back in September 2001.
