Yup. Was noticing that the day that "cache" hits are coming in through a resolved google.com address instead of the 216.239.whatever.whatever that it used to come in on. Now today (after seeing a crawl several days ago on the old 216.249.whatever.whatever ip string), I'm seeing googlebot hits from 64.68.82.* (Between 3 and 79, so far, but it's probably further, I haven't run a scan).
Does that mean google has more crawl power now? Or did it just change IP's?

I've seen it too on IP's ranging from 64.68.82.1 (crawler10.googlebot.com) through to 64.68.82.240 (crawler18.googlebot.com) and everywhere in between.

Something identifying itself as Googlebot just grabbed my index.htm page from 64.68.82.65.

Yeah, I just scanned the IP's. Looks like Google has doubled it's crawlers. 64.68.82.1 - 140 all resolve to crawler10.googlebot.com up to crawler18.googlebot.com
216.239.46.1 - 140 resolve, as they have before, as crawl1.googlebot.com to crawl9.googlebot com.
Now lets just hope they go deep with it. :)

In my sites, 64.68.82.* and 64.68.86.* are Googlebot IP, at least starting from May 2002.
I mean 'lot of requests' from these IPs, so I thought all here knew it..

They've been coming in on those IP's to my knowledge for some months.
