About 3 weeks ago I changed my site from sitename.mcmail.com to a .co.uk name.

I removed all the content from the .mcmail.com and just put some redirect text to the .co.uk site.

I have used the same content, but remved the frames and improved on the keywords, titles etc..

When i look in www2 or www3 i am no where to be seen.

Can someone explain whats happened, I can email you my URL if it helps

thanx

Ive just realised i have a .com address which my host forwards to my .co.uk address, could this have got me banned?

Hi Andrew

Firstly the dance isn't over yet......

Where is your host? If google has to make a choice between two tld's it will go for the one that corresponds to the host location.

Have you links in to the .co.uk? You need these to be listed. The previous .com redirect may not count, I would put a normal looking page up with a hard link which will carry pr. (Don't duplicate home page of new site).

I have old pages in www3 at the moment so weird things are still hapenning. Good luck.

Thanx for the reply, I was getting realy worried i had messed up!

I have quite a few links incoming - which is why I was worried, as all my .mcmail links have dissapeared (which is good as there is nothing their) but no .co.uk urls on the ww2 or ww3

thanx
