PR rating deep inside domains

Checked high return pages

I was clicking on high return pages in my stats and discovered pages rating as high as PR6 buried deep within domains. Some of these domains are rated PR2 on the opening index.

I don't spend much time checking things because I have 350 domains.

Now I am really confused!

check backward links from the pr2 page and the pr6 page...

are you sure that you aren't looking at the homepage with some sort of url extension that google doesn't follow - i.e. it is tough to tell what amazon's homepage pr is because they have some much variable code that pops up after the .com
