Hi folks,

Bit of a lame question, but here goes! ..

I have a domain "x.com" (which is my REAL website). I also have the same domain name "x.co.uk" parked at a well known domain registrar.

I have domain "x.co.uk" pointing to domain "x.com" using an HTTP redirect setup by the domain registrar.

Can I submit this domain to DMOZ and Google (and other directories in fact) .. or will it be considered Spam as it is just a redirect to my real site.

The prob is my "x.com" domain is hosted in the US, so it won't show up in a Google search for UK sites. However, if the "x.co.uk" domain was seen by the SEs, I'd have no prob.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

What ever domain is displayed in the address bar after the redirect is what will usually get indexed, so submitting the .co.uk won't do much good.

maybe not a complete answer,

but i know 1 thing for sure, you will not get banned for redirecting to another domain, wheather u use javascript or meta refresh.

[edit]
dmoz usually don't accept redirected pages.

[edit]
if u use frame redirect, the title will stay in te address-bar.

It is a waste of time - only one site will get indexed.

You are much better off just submitting the real URL not the forwarding domain.
