I am about to do some paid advertising, so to say with a site. I sell products and this other site reviews all the products and tells you what new is on the verge of coming out in the electronics world. Currently his site has a decent PR and he will put a hyperlink on that product review page to your website for customers to buy the product at your site.(for a percentage of any sale you make coming from his hyperlink to your site)

My two questions are:

Currently their are two of my competitors linked from all product pages on his site to the corresponding product pages on their site for the customers to buy from them. For example: It will review shall we say a HP 1200 printer and on that page it will have a hyperlink that says buy this at amazon.com and below that another hyperlink saying buy this at xyz.com - By me being listed on this, will this help of hurt me being their are already two other hyperlinks. I would not think of this as a Link Farm but am I wrong in thinking that?

Also, being he has many product pages that link directly from that product page on his website to your product page on your website, is that a bad thing to get some many incoming hyperlinks from one website to yours?

I dont think any of this is a bad thing, but am not as knowledgable as many of you others. This site took a year to build, I wouldnt want to do something that can screw it up so easily and wasted a year of my life for nothing.

Thanks everyone!
