That seems to pretty closely mirror what we've seen.

I've added those three - I'm getting traffic from .com.ar and .com.ru, but next to nothing at all from .ie. But that doesn't seem right. Why don't the Irish like my web site?

It would be google.com.au... except that someone else owns that domain. auDA asked for submissions for new TLDs inside .au recently, though, and maybe Google should have tried to get google.au!

or what about [ww.google.co.jp...]

Yes, I got referrals from 33.100

I think it was actually me checking my google cached version.

PS. Thanks to Webmaster world for some great hints and tips. As a totally amateur web master, It has been and continues to be a learning experience. On the next Google update, I expect our site to jump and surprise many of our well established competitors.

I worked out why there were no .ie referrals - Google only recently started redirecting Irish users from www.google.com to www.google.ie.

The months in the chart where Google's take off show the redirects being introduced - e.g. google.nl and google.co.nz in February 2002.
