Hello,

i dont't know how the search engines index HTML with Java Script.

Is Java Script ignored by Google and other SE's?
Is search engine relevant content in Java Script Code unhelpful?

Thank you!

Yep JavaScript is ignored by most if not all SEs. To have an idea what the SE robots see, just click on view source in your browser.

You can get a good idea of what spiders see by running the sim spider [searchengineworld.com] at search engine world. Most search engines ignore javascript, but that may be changing.

korkus, I just tried this spider simulator. Am I doing something wrong? It doesn't seem to follow relative links and doesn't read the keywords meta tag?

It seems to spider my site ok. I don't include the keywords tag so I don't know about that. I would consider using absolute links. I am not sure how much of a diference it makes but it gives spiders the perfect url. Maybe someone else here knows if there are any bugs. Maybe you could post in the community center so Brett will see it and could answer any question about the program.
