I changed my site's name and URL, but kept the old URL poiniting to home page because it still has lots of links going to it.

I guess Google penalizes for having multiple URL's... Duplicate content?

How do I keep the old URL without being dropped?

Thanks in advance.

shogun,

Put a 301 Permanent redirect at your old URL pointing to the new site. Google and users will
automatically follow it to your new site. In most cases, your Page Rank will also follow. There are
several ways to implement the redirect, depending on your server. I recommend using the site search
(above) to look for "301 permanent redirect". Also, try to get those external links pointing to
your old site updated soon.
