Google is back to regional SERPS again!

Why oh why do they insist on doing this?

I just went to do a search on Google and found that they are back to their old habits of giving the user only the database for their region. Anyone else noticed this?

Why do they do it? Its very annoying from my point of view.

(Why is their an alert sign on this post? Did I do something wrong?)

I had not noticed this.

This is to graphically show you which threads you have posted in. It is part of the new WebmasterWorld build. Personally, I really like the new feature.

Doesn't the alert sign just mean that you posted in the thread? ;)

I am not seeing the regional enforcement (UK).

Thanks agerhart and Abrexa_UK ... that is a nice feature! I am only getting google.vg when I type in google.com. I guess I'll have to go back to google.com/intl/en/ if I want anything other than regional results.

Does anyone know why Google does this?
