Has anyone had any problems accessing all google search engines ? Over the last month i have been unable to access it.

If anyone could clarify that it is not Google and perhaps it is an internal problem with us

many thanks

I haven't had any of these problems and I have used several different internet connections (cable, ADSL, 56kb) in several different places lately.

So it's probably something in your connection.

Just imagine : Google down. What would that do with some people here :p

HI Fiona and welcome to WebmasterWorld,

We had a couple of outages here too (~UK~) I think a pipe went down last month, had one when we couldn't even get to WebmasterWorld :( .

Hi all

Thanks for all your quick responses - its strange because we can access all other sites but google seem to be the only one that comes with a page saying page cannot be displayed.

At this exact moment i cannot log on to www.google.com???

It sounds like it could be an internal connection problem.

thanks

Fiona, try a dialup ISP or something. Google has been known to ban accesses from some servers and seeing you havent been able to access google for a month that may be what is happening.

Having no access to google is often a DNS problem. Can you access www3.google.com or one of their IPs like 216.239.33.100 ?

Google has never yet been inaccessible to me, and I check it regularly. It's certainly possible, but I'd suspect your connection/ISP first.

edited for typo...
