Cached pagerank 4 actual pagerank2

My website is fairly new and I have recieved alot of good advice from this forum, but this is my first post.

My website has been showing a pagerank of 4 for the cached version for 2 or 3 months and the actual page has a pagerank of 2 during the same time period. Is this usual or not? I have looked in the forum for a similar topic, but was unable to find one. Sorry if I posted in the wrong place.

The PR of a cached page apparently doesn't mean anything. Check out the cache of Yahoo, for example.
