is google teasing me?

will i be pr6 or pr3?

for he last three days the google toolbar has occasionally shown me as a pr6..then when i go back im a pr3 again....today it even had pages one leve deep at pr5..then i go back and its pr3 and 2 again...i know you can get the odd hiccup...but for 3 days?....u think google is getting ready to up my pr?...or is she just teasing me?....on a search for my backlinks its showing 283....and i thought you couldnt see your backlinks if you were a pr3?

Yeah, it is in a state of flux. Saw a PR 7 on a brand new site with few links yesterday. No way it was PR7, more like 3 tops.

What I have found with the past few sites I have built is that of you where pr3 and during the update it goes between 3-4 the chances are you will be 4 when it settles. The new PR seams to be the real "new" PR it's just switching between new and old.

soapy you can see backlinks if you are a pr3, you cant however
see those backlinks that are pr3 or less.

This was the first update one of my sites has been in Google, and I debuted with a PR6, which made me pretty happy :) Let's just hope that things are calmed down enough that it sticks for good.
