Ok We all know that now 2 search engines have now exceeded googles database of 2,073,418,204 web pages ( ATW and Openfind ) the question is when will Google update their counter ? We know they will soon because Google loves to be the biggest.

How much do you think the total will rise to maybe 2.2 Bill ??

When the number updates we will see who has got the closest :)

xcandyman,

didn't Google already advertise its size as being bigger?

[webmasterworld.com...]

add the pages on which the does not figure (chinese, japanese, korean, and other foreign...)

Wait a minute. You're saying that Google brags about being "bigger?" I guess then the previous discussions that Google is a woman cannot be true. That's it. Google is a man.

The numbers are usually in total flux. During updates it shrinks, and grows. And the numbers displayed for pages found are grabbed from any number of servers. Its a p@#$ing contest as far as size goes. Who cares. The users want relevance. Google Rocks!
