When do we get the PR

is it with the update or when you submit the site?

I have just made a single new site for my web site yesterday, In that category there is 3 pages the first 2 have PR0 the new site i made yesterday has PR1, the 2 other have been there for month and the new maybe 4 hours, so why PR1, google can not have spidered it and updated it.

Another thing, when we have a update (maybe this weekend) does the PR come from the linked sites or does google take the cache from the spidering and see if there where any links to that site or does PR come from the other sites when they are updated and give to ones web site.

Damn I can not explain this.

It is a total guesstimate from the toolbar, based on the rest of the site and is basically meaningless.

that must be it.

What about the PR do they look at your site to find wich sites are linking to you or do they follow links from the different sites to give you a PR, that would also mean if if you get a link from a site that is updated everyday on google you PR will change?

Zeus, right before the monthly update Google PR reserves are very low. That is why your new site is only PR1. After the update, Google's shelves will be full of PR (recovered from sites that were previously high PR but have been busted to PR0).
