finally we have managed to get our main site into the DMOZ directory, title has our main 4 keywords in it, and I just wanted to get some feedback on how much of a potential difference Google will make of this.

below is simple explanation of our site listing in Dmoz:

====================================================
Sitename - UK based site selling Keyword1, Keyword2, Keyword3 and Keyword4.
====================================================

your comments are appreciated.

You should be very nicely setup with this. DMOZ has a nice effect on ones ranking in Google(once Google takes notice of DMOZ listing that is).

It is basically essential to be listed in DMOZ to garner a nice placement in Google. It even helps more, like Mike said, if the keywords are in the category title.

Depending on the PR of the caetgory pages in DMOZ, your site should have the same PR after being placed, or one or two points lower. It is possible to be higher, however, it all depends on the ranking of other pages linking to your site externally, and the amount of interal site content and internal linking structure. With the later of these being fairly decent, you will probably be very suprised at how effective this directory listing will help.
