Hey everyone,
I noticed different serps and results numbers on www, www2, and www3 I think the update is at its beginning stages. Best of luck everyone!

Backword links have remained steady. Serps have been in motion all month. I think we've got a few days to wait still.

I think I have figured it out. Only the absolute best of the best get updated first - then later, the rest of you guys... ;)

www, 2 and 3 are now identical on this end, they had been dancing a bit earlier in the week

link:yahoo.com is the same on all three, so no update yet. The SERPS change all the time so looking at those to determine an update is not reliable.

Sure it is Yankee, especially if you have a date on your index page that gets cached.

Hunter, I think you are confusing Fresh updating with Monthly updating. Two different animals. Monthly is the one we are waiting for. The Fresh one goes on daily and does not involve a recalculation of pagerank and link popularity.

The reason I posted was because I was getting different numbers of results on many of my searches as well as searches for google and yahoo. I could be terribly mistaken though, this month has been a bit sketchy with results moving all the time. I sure hope it happens soon though, I am getting anxious. Has anyone come up with a safe sedative to take during google's monthly routine? :) Sorry if I was a little early with this post.

You can get different number of results on all three just about any day of the year with Google. That's the norm. The exception is when they all 3 match.

Just to clarify: I may not be an expert around here, but this is what I know...

1. The "dance" has NOT started.

2. Results for www, www2, and www3 have been shifting around practically non-stop ever since the last dance started a few weeks ago.

3. The dance probably won't start until the 21st, if not later (which seems more likely). Looking at the past updates will make this very obvious.

I've been getting a very small fluctuation in results for 2 weeks now for certain kw's. Definately is not an update though.
