How long does it take backward links to show?

Click page info on the toolbar, click backwards links... Since mid-June I've added a few good backward links, PR5. Right now all of them do not show up in my backward links listings. Two were added post June crawl, pre-dance. All were in place as of the 1st of this month.

Will they appear in my backward links after the next dance? Is that the standard, that backward links listings update after the dance, not after crawls?

Figure two update to reflect the change. Often, one will do it, but two to be sure. Given the dates you mention above, it should be in the next one.

Yes, what Brett said. It is good to give it a chance. Just because you had the pages linked to your doesn't mean that you are going to get them even in the next update.

GB might hit the other sites, but might not hit those pages with the links. It might require a nice deep crawl to hit those other pages.

To get the link back in 1 update is really nice, 2 updates is a safe bet, 3 is almost (95%) guarantee.
