GoogleBot A.W.O.L. ?

Has anyone had any signs of googlebot lately. He/She is no where to be seen in my logs files. Is this normal? Or have I been regflagged for some unknown reason?

P.S. How the hell do I remove this pale green skin... thats the last time I ever play around with my control panel.

I have to admit I am a bit worried as well.

Google came knocking on my site end of June twice... Not heard a peep since then! This is not normal :P

Prior to the month before this I had a small crawl and that was it. Thing is I have all new content, fresh information, and expanded new areas on my site... I have been waiting for a good feeding on my site by Google... but nothing.

Oh well... At least people are still finding me, I guess that is important.

Hi Guys,

googlebot last hit one of my sites about 5 days ago. Generally crawling starts a few days after the dance starts and lasts 7-10 days. If you haven't seen googlebot by now I'd hazzard a guess that you've probably missed out this month.

Googlebot hit most of our sites a couple of days ago. :)

Stopped by for a last quick visit to mine about 2 days ago, stop by for a quicky every day for a week straight prior, and deep crawl previous to that.

google was on my mainsite which is in the index for 2 month now and made only 4 hits around 4th July.

on an othersite, which is new but on the same ip, he/she made a deepcrawl wit almost 800 hits and checks it almost every day.

Maybe this month is going to be a shallower crawl. The last few months we have seen such deep crawls, but remember, in the past there were some months when the crawl was just less aggressive.

Googlebot came and got my entire site during the last update, and has only been back once since (crawled 1/4 of my site again).
