TouchGraph provides a hands-on way to visualize networks of interrelated information. Networks are rendered as interactive graphs, which lend themselves to a variety of transformations. By engaging their visual image, a user is able to navigate through large networks, and to explore different ways of arranging the network's components on screen.
It didnt seem to work on many URL's for me - just the larger domains. Still find the related mapping tools like kazoo and mapstan better in stimulating ideas for me - but this one is specific to google. Perhaps if t would accept URLS's of our own sites it would be even more interesting.
It seems to depend on Google Directory a lot. Im still finding Kartoo better in visualizing a subject area and the similarity and interrealtionships of sites within it. But this is certainly interesting. Domain and Google specific rather than subject specific.
chyio - thanks for mentioning Kartoo! I am amazed, flabberghasted (sp?) and spellbound! I didn't know this kind of tool was available for common folk. Of course, I like Kartoo better since I show up as the hub for many of my kw whereas with TouchGraph (and google), I don't.
How am I ever going to finish redoing my sites now? ;)
To think, in all the years I have been doing SEO never had I thought or even imagined in my wildest dreams that something like this would be possible.
Wow, amazing. Such content such diversity, such an amazing tool.
What it's for is anybody's guess, but hey we're online and data clarity was never really important, just ways to show the same thing over and over again.
I'm a convert can't wait until I am able to view all the sites linked to me by www2.google.com or www3.google.com. in this way. Then there is the google dance, oh joy, oh rapture.
Keep it coming....keep it real!
