I used a new method or slightly reworked method for matching content frequency against meta tag keywords..
I now have very similar first page rankings on non google search engines such as aol, msn, and etc..
Hmm..interesting..
Google sets RULE!
I use google sets to fine tune my keywords to their frequency within the website content..
Seems to work wuite well ..and I only did sttic content..I don;t have to worry about the news index on first page becasue gogole picks that up automatically and ranks it according to people referring to it in about a days time..
Interesting...

That sounds good. If you put in the effort to match the words used by people who might want to find your site and build your pages around them, then this helps in the other main engines as well as Google.
For most of my older sites, I find that Google, AlltheWeb and the pure Inktomi search give me similar rankings. Of course things change when the PPC listings (eg. Overture and LookSmart on MSN) are taken into account:(.
Just one thing, though. META keywords themselves don't help in Google, and don't help much in the other main engines IMO. I guess that you use the words in the pages as well?
