There was nothing for Canada day and now nothing for Independance day......

There is now on the homepage. Just decorated letters, I kind of expected a barbeque scene.

Yes, but I don't see them online.
Tried google.com just minutes ago, but no logo there (at least no holiday logo).

Still nothing visible here in the Emerald Isle.
I liked the logos and would hate to see them served up by region.

It is the case. I am from Canada and I saw the Canada day logo on july first. I cannot see the US day logo either.

The Stars & Stripes "Google" is currently visible to me (in the US) with a link to 4 July stuff.

I personally think this region stuff with Google is crap. If I type google.com, that means I want to go to the international/US site. Else I would type .co.uk, .fr, .de or whatever.
