At the time that I'm writing there is a problem with the Google Ad Words Select Control Center.

All amounts displayed are huge at least in the "Show all campaigns" of the Campaign Management.

For example one client is shown with a $305,000.00 cost per 3 clicks received instead of $0.31 which is probably the correct amount as shown in the campaign summary for the same client.

I am worried because of their automated billing system. Any other experiencing this out there? I really wouldn't like my credit card been billed for $997,754.00 for 6 clicks!!!!

It's pretty cool actually. I can pretend I'm filthy rich, being able to afford $50 mln in clicks. As long as they don't try to charge my card for that...I'm gonna end up paying fines to my bank :(

I'm pretty sure that these numbers are a little large. ;) I'm passing this url to our ads folks and they'll make sure it's correct pronto. This is not part of Google's new plan to increase our revenues. ;)

Well, on my SEO campaign it is currently running at $499,904.90 per click and my bill is a mere $2,736,979,341.00.

I know Google don't particularly like SEOs and think we all earn too much money - but I don't earn that much - honestly!

I got my screenshot just in time, then tried again and:

Thank you for your interest in advertising with Google. We apologize for any inconvenience, but the AdWords system is temporarily down for maintenance.

Please try again in a few minutes.

Not only will I frame my screenshot, but also deduct this from my taxes and so I will probably never ever again have to pay!!!

Google announce billions of profits in latest quarter... only to realise their account team was ex enron/worldcom/xerox lol

A big thanks to Google for this mistake and an even bigger thanks to Webmasterworld in pointing to error out to us. I did act quickly in using the mistake to my advantage. Sent an email to several national newspapers about the mistake, they love big numbers, the more zereo's the bettter. Anyway we made the UK's number 2 daily newspaper "The Mirror" Sat 6th July page 22. Headline reads "£50m Web Blunder" and goes on to say how shocked we were at seeing such a big bill, but they did print the URL. correctly.
