Crawling pages but not updating the index

Hi,

Is it possible that google requests a page that has been slightly modified but does not update in it the index because the amount of changes is minimal ?

If what you're seeing is Googlebot hitting your pages, but not making a change, don't forget that you have to give Google time to calculate your incoming and outgoing links, to establish the PageRank of all the different pages of your sites and sites linked to you based on this information, etc. etc. etc.

If that's not the case, then it's entirely possible. Like a woman, Google works in mysterious ways. Unlike a woman, it tries its best to give you as accurate information as possible - so I imagine there's a better chance you'll see the changes eventually.
