They seem to be a UK telecommunications company. I have been getting referals from them all day. They are using google serps. Did they just start their website/using google?

The 'BT' part stands for British Telecom, in other words the biggest telecoms company in the UK, in fact the only one until deregulation in the 80's. According to a recent survey, 28.7% of UK surfers use BT as their ISP-the next most popular is 12.7% and AOL is 4%. I'm not surprised your referrals are up now they're served by Google; lately they were using Looksmart. Good news for me too!! I don't PPC...

Also worth noting that one of the big UK ISP providers is freeserve, and to be a member of them, you must use a BT phone line.

They also use google SERPs

Just to add to my previous post: BtOpenworld.com are STILL using Looksmart. A search on my main keyword gives results in the following order:

'Featured Sites'-paid for inclusion (either before or after their change of business model).

'Selected Sites from Looksmart'-their directory sites. One of my pages is in there which has recently been listed by Zeal.co.uk

'Related Sites from the Rest of the Web'-pure Google (last week's update).

I don't know when exactly they changed their search results, but looking at my referrals I would say very recently.
