Does CASE matter?

Very few top listings are in all caps.

While it doesn't seem like the search results change when you type in a keyword several times with different case ("widgets" vs. "WIDGETS" vs. "Widgets"), but it seems like very few listings have titles in all caps.

Does Google penalize for ALL CAP TITLES?

I have done extensive testing on this and we note that is does NOT matter. Neither does a period in an abbreviation such as saint = st or st.

Hope this helps!

Good topic!

Professional well written titles using proper upper and lower case would be the accepted standard. A couple of years ago that would not have been the case (no pun intended).

All cap words. I've wondered about it. Seems like there is something there. All cap words (one, a phrase, or the whole thing), seem to have something applied to them that pushes them down in the rankings. No far, but just a little.

Googlebot probably considers them bad taste :)
