Have you tried the premium sponsorships? How much do you have to spend?

The minimum is $10,000 over three months [google.com]. I haven't tried it.

We are in the process of signing up, UK though and the mininum is lower [about half]. If we can double the ad words click thru % then it will be an OK deal.

Hi,

I have been using Premium Ads for about 10 months, booked via the London office.

click through rates average 13 - 15% , even my account manager comments that this is not what most people achieve.

we are in a very niche market, and have found that tweaking the copy for the ad made serious difference.

still we are missining out on the other 85% :)

(on another note, being number 2 is not that bad actually, we were still getting 10 - 12% CTR)

hope that helps.

excellent forum to whom it may concern.

I use 'em and find them to be pretty incredible. I had good luck with the AdWords ... so I was anxious to try the northern banner. Qualified leads, high click through, high conversion ... I'm well below my targeted cost per acquisition.

Had to do some tweaking, though. Not all keywords perform well - had to re-do copy and then drop some keywords for poor performance. But overall - I'm quite happy with it.
