Do they prefer one to another?

Do spiders have any problems with asp javascript or DHTML

What about pages with dynamic content, how do you keep the description tags relevent?

Thanks,
Scott

Smokey, make some time and start using this site's search function. You will find tons of answers with even more value in all the details.

In general SE's do have some level of issue with everything that's not clear cut html code or at least looking like it. They are getting better all the time though.

For a beginner I would stay away from flash, java and other scripts, also watch the URL's your asp produces, SE's get lazy, mixed up or even mean when using ID=? indicators too much.

That comes down to your skill, with PHP you can insert relevant information into the title, Meta tags, H1 tags etc... just a question of programming skills.
