Links from main domian or sub domain?

i have my link directory in a subdomian

i have setup my site as www.mysite.com but to make my site look neeter i have placed my links directory in www.directory.mysite.com

now my links directory has about 20 or so pages in it.
and im trying to decide wether its worth me placing my links directory into my root folder for the extra page benefits or should i just leave the directory where it is in a subdomain?

not to mention will it bring down my pr with all these external links in my root folder?
i only have about 100 external links but i am looking to go up to 1000

any thoughts?

I am not convinced that google particularly cares about directory structure very much - perhaps there is a slight affect but in the serps I look at links count for way more. What is better for you, ease of maintenance etc? What is better for your visitors?

Personally I would keep subdomain, I think if anything you may have more benefit from that approach (possibly G will see the two as seperate sites with subtly different theme - one is content the other directory/hub)

Hey chrisgarrett, I thought U are absolutely right man. G will certainly take you directory as another site. So, I don't think so that it'd be boost ur site. but still I am not 100% sure. Please come up n suggest some more. :-)
