Google expands some acronym searches?

A search for np tree [google.com] turns up a lot of hits for with the phrase "National Park" bolded in page titles.

Yes it does, but not in the cache - there, "NP" is "only in links pointing to this page"

Whatever it is, it's not black and white then!
