This is a question for all web publishers…

After Keyword Frequency, Meta Tagging, Internal linking, Getting Great Inbound Links, having over 1,000 pages of relevant content some sites still cant make it…

I find that one can get drowned with all these issues, I have to be pragmatic, I sell blue widgets but I know there is going to be some difficulty in getting to the top for the search term widgets...

But the competitors that sell orange, green and sometimes blue widgets use unscrupulous means to get to the top of search terms 'widgets' and blue widgets. So what does Google expect us to do?

After spending thousands and I mean $000,000.00 to make our site optimized it takes us 3 years to get good quality inbound links and our investment goes bust and the website goes to the dogs unless we pump more money in it and with constant spending when will we reach break even point.

Yet those PHANTOMS cloaked in the night get all the traffic and earn all the bucks.
Google clearly has not had been able to TERMINATE these phantoms so why then penalize sites that seek to get some leverage on these cheaters who try to make it a ONE HORSE RACE.

I will still stick to my guns because I guess when Google are able to figure out how to stop cloakers then sites built with the painstaking process will benefit.

But until then why frown on purchasing links, auto-text generating, blogging and all that other stuff that might give us at least a knife in a gunfight because…

Google the Good Guys suffer here… What are we to do…Help…
