homepage not in allinurl?

When i do a allinurl on Google for my website, my homepage isn't listed. Several other sites are listed instead, and further down the page are two of my site's interior-content pages.

My site recently dropped out of the first eight result pages for mostg of the keywords I've been tracking, and I've been trying to find out why. Can you tell me what this allinurl result may have to do with it?

I'm not sure if my problem is the same as yours ...

I'm always in the first 6 on my most important keywords. What I have noticed as that although the site as not dropped, google seems to have dropped in the index (home) page in favour of pages within the site .....

Whilst this is not a big issue I'm not sure why google has done this since the index page is better optimised then the pages it has choosen to show.
