Related to Spike in Traffic for Other Sites?

There is a thread that was recently posted here named Google Traffic lost on September 23 is coming back [webmasterworld.com]. Around the same time, I noticed a drop in my blog traffic from Google Web Search, a major drop.

I was wondering if anyone else noticed this drop and if it is isolated to blogs, movabletype blogs, dynamic sites or what?

A site of mine dropped from #2 to #12 in about the same time. Some win some lose.
