Hi,

I have just renamed the gateway page in a subsection of my site from "a.php" to "index.php" so that everything would point to a proper folder so it looks cleaner.

when i do a search for my new url i get the message

Sorry, no information is available for the URL

[example.com...]

But when i search for the url enclosed in quotes "www.mysite.com/subsection/" it shows up in google search results.

Googles been indexing and caching this page once every 2 days or so but it is not being listed in the search engine.

I am baffled, is this page or section of my site penalized?

On other sections of my website when i put up new content it goes up within a weeks. This page has been up for 2 weeks now and is not in the index, unless you search for it in quotes. Again am i banned or penalized? what should i do?
