Google and links with onClick

eg <A HREF="bla.com" onClick="window.open...">

Just wondering if anyone has any evidence/experience of how Google handles links which contain an onClick javascript command involving window.open, and an HREF.

I ask because it's clearly a good way to spam Google with something like: <A HREF="domain1.com" onClick="window.open('domain2.com','newwindow'> or whatever, but a few sites seem to offer links like this either as link swaps or as ads.

LOL I asked this question about a week ago ... the response was that it would still pass PR no problem.

My experience is that it will crawl both domain1.com and domain2.com, but it will only pass PR to domain1.com.

These kind of links don't work for visitors who do a right-click to open the link in a new tab or window. I seldom left-click on links myself.
