Links From the Same Server

My own website, which has links pretty much only from my own clients, ranks well for "web design mycountry"

I host all my client sites, on a set of servers I colocate all in one spot.

I do have everal hundred thousand inbound links, from around 60 different sites, but only a DMOZ listing outside of these links.

I would have thought obtaining a high ranking like this would have been almost impossible?

Has anyone else ahd this experience? Links from same server not as valuable, but having at least some value?

No value or just LESS value
