Why does Google insist on having their cache statement above the site being viewed?

Why can't they have it positioned relatively to the end of the document.

It ruins both the doctype and the styling of my sites.

A couple of my sites are positioned absolutely to the top-left corner, which appears above Googles cache statement (higher z-Index). Others are central positioned but with the cache statement it throws the whole page out. This does not represent my work well.

They (Google) could easily rectify the problems just by putting the cache statement at the bottom of the page. It will not ruin my doctype or put my pages out, and in some cases my site wont hide the statement because of the absolute positioning I use.

Well, I've corrected the position of Google's cache statement with javascript so it now appears at the bottom of my page.

At least it will be viewed correctly when people have javascript on.

Is there a way I can correct the doctype with javascript as google uses the wrong one?

Thanks
