Try [google.com...] to change settings
The solution is to reset your cookie.
It may be called Geo-targeting, but in my experience it never works properly.
I think that if someone wants the .co.uk version of whatever website, they should have to go to the .co.uk address.
When I was in Italy during a summer a few years back, google.com would redirect to google.it. As annoying as it was, I did appreciate that most Italians would probably want the google.it site instead of the usa google.com site.
If you do not have security access to erase cookies, you can try the IP address of google.com (i.e. 216.239.57.99)
