Does Google read the content of javascripts?

Hi,

Does google read the javascripts on your webpage?

I believe it doesn't but i'm not sure .. for example if i place a link within a javascript will google follow that link?

I believe it will follow the link. But it wont read anything in the <script> tags as content from your site.
