Hi all

Still being quite a newby here I am puzzled as to why our site is not appearing in the first 1000 (relevant)results in google. Having looked at other sites in the same business as ourselves they have less backward links and virtually no SEO on their pages. Our site has a homepage of PR6 as we had a holding page why the site was constructed. The site as a whole has now been live for about 2 1/2 months and I assume that it should a least me coming up in the top 1000?!

Is this the "sandbox" theory that people talk about? - and it so when should I expect a change? It is also a problem knowing what works and what doesnt as we keep on tweaking the SEO but so far this hasnt made a difference. In your opinions should we leave the site as it is or keep on making ammendments to the SEO until we see significant results or are we just being impatient?!

All of your thoughts are greatly appreciated...

PR 6 seems awfully high for a sandboxed site.

Search for your homepage's title tag in quotes (for example, "our title tag", and let us know whether that does any better? (A question mark since this is more of a suggestion than a command! :) )
