Is there beneficial to use "no cache" in "robot.txt"

Use "no cache" in robot.txt file is benficial more or less, specially when s site has over 50000 pages indexed in Google?
becuase I got the point that when GoogleBot starts making cache for a site's pages the server's bandwidth use greatly. But I also affriad that by using "no cache" my site may not get panalty of pages de-indexing?
