Hi, I purchase a domain three moths ago and I was trying to transfer all of my existing sites to the new domain. I used pernament 301 redirect to do so and after 3 months my new domain has nice PR and some of the pages transfered.
Now when I am trying to search by exact phrase my new site comes up plus all of my old sites which I redirected, on the top of that my old site is showing new pages I added since I created new site. All of the results with my old site shows as 'supplemental results' and rank better than my new site. I suspect that my new site is in sanbox,

I am totally confused what I need to do to remove/redirect my old site in Google.

Can someone give me some pointers?

I just want to make sure we are talking about the same thing: When you say you are moving to a new domain do you mean that what was www.widgets.com is now at www.wonkers.com? Or do you mean that www.widgets.com was hosted by X at IP x.x.x.x and is now hosted by Y at IP y.y.y.y?

Welcome to the sandbox club!
It may take a few weeks to months to rank decently with competitive/semi-competitive keywords on Google. The PR doesn't matter in front of sandbox. Mine has been like that for 7 months now. If you can survive without Google Referral and you really have to move your domain, do 301 redirect. Otherwise, live with the old domain.
