Site disappeared after being positioned for a day

I found my site on top and was very happy but suddenly disappeared?

Dear Friends,

Again one illusion at Google, I promoted one of site which was no where under ranking when I optimized pages and started Link Building campaign it was almost 3 months I could not see any result. But on one fine day I found site was on top for few keywords and was very happy.

Suddenly it dropped on second day, now site is no where under 1000. But my site has PR and when searched for www.mysite.com in Google I found site is listed properly. What could be the reason then?

While in my optimization process I have repeated title as h1 and description as h2 by making little modifications, can this be a reason?

If there is anyone to guide it will be of great for me.

Kind regards.

How old is your site since you put it on the search engine, what is your pagerank, and how many backlinks do you have approx. Also, what phrase did you rank for and out of how many results?

I wouldn't panic jkappu. Its not unusual for this to happen. You may have seen a specific data center and when Google gets its collective act together you will most likely find that your new site will permanently find its place in Google's serps.

This is very common phenominan. Your site was picked up in the SERPS and later dropped till the next reshufle. All is well just have patience.

Dear Friends,

Thanks for your supportive messages, this made me little relaxed and now am waiting for see my site gets back to SERP.

chopin2256, site is qutie old around 1 year and it has PR of 4 and around 80-85+ back links. But I dont think now PR and Back Links are the only criteria for ranking. Any comment from you freinds?

I shall get back when I find my site back in SERP.
