Hello,

I have a site that ranks number 1 on frogs. The site has around 25 pages dealing with frogs, frog legs, frog food, etc.

I have a database of 300 critters that live near water, and very few have anything to do with the frog.

I would like to make my site larger and create 300 pages from the database.

I use adsense and receive great ads on frogs which I would hate to loose, at least on the frog pages

My question is, do you think this would hurt my ranking for frogs? Would the theme of my site now appear to be something other than frogs or would it not matter? Perhaps Google would think I am spamming?

Any comments or speculation on this would be welcome!

BTY – Frogs were the only thing that came to mind when writing this message. :)

As long as the new pages have unique content and good inbound links you'll be fine.

Just be sure you don't change the URL of pages that have good incoming links.
