Session IDs - Obstacle to Google?

Site Performing Poorly - Could this be due to Session IDs

Hi,
A client site is using session ids. I have taken a look at the server header and it contains: "Set-Cookie: ASPSESSIONIDQSBQBCAR=OGMIOAJAHELOPBNMDLADLGEM; path=/"

Also, when you click around the site "www" is removed from the address bar i.e. when you arrive on the site the url is in the form [example.com...] but when you click on any link this changes to [example.com....]

Is there any way that the combination of the 2 points above are the key to our problems.

Finally, one last point is that there is a 301 redirect taking place from an old url to this one in the form http://www.[domain A].com redirecting to http://[domain B].com (without the "www").

If you can't see the session ID's in the URLS it should be fine.

The 301 redirect to the URL without the www is fine as well, if you worried about google and pagerank this is a common practice to stop PR leaking.

great, thanks Mark for this. One other question, do you think that the 301 will transfer the previous visibility as well as page rank. This 301 was set up about 3.5 months ago and the site has had poor visibility ever since.
