Why Does Google Show No Cache?

PR 4 site that has been in Google for over 2 years

I have a PR 4 site that has been in Google for over 2 years and does consistently rank well. I have dropped in the results over the last couple of months for many of my search terms. From page one to page two or three. Add me to the people who think they are serving up questionable results. No, not just because I have dropped but because many of the results simply do not apply to the search. I still rank well on MSN and Yahoo for my keywords(page one).

My specific question: Why would Google not show cache for my site? I am not penalized and have a PR 4. I do show cache if I click -text only cache-.

The site uses frames (please no frames are bad lectures). I have the proper tags and all of my site is indexed by Google.

Is this just another glitch in the system? It is has been this way for months…any ideas? Thanks!

Could it be that your cache is just the frameset page, so when you see the cached page, it looks blank?

If there is no "Cached" link, that would be fairly unusual unless you have some sort of robots.txt or meta tag instruction to prevent caching.
