Firstly thanks to all who can help me...

I took over role within my company as SEO about 4 months ago.

we run around 5 campaigns for partners and our own sites, 3 of the campaigsn are all done in my companies name, i.e. hosted, domain registered all by us. The other two are hosted by our partners and registered etc to them.

Now here is the interesting part, guess which campaigns havnt really worked...yep you guessed the ones which we host and manage etc.

I think the guy who was here before was cloaking, and performing frowned upon SEO.

So here is my question, how can i find out if Google are penalising me?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The only thing I can think of, aside from it possibly being because of the sites targeting different keyword sets in different markets, is to check and see if there are old versions of the pages at the Wayback Machine - you can find it with a Google search.

A belated Welcome to WW for you Devox and a thanks to Marcia for finding your thread.
I hope you haven't given up on this forum because of the lack of response to your first thread.
There are a few ways to tell if your site or page is suffering from a penalty by google.
if you'd like to sticky mail me with all the sites in question I'd be happy to have a look for you and see if I can suss out why.
